We will be looking at two ab workouts which can be quite challenging even to experienced individuals. Hard as it is, the results are certainly worth it - you can achieve a very sculpted and sexy looking ripped abs in double quick time. Let's see how you can start doing them.
The Oblique Bridge - Begin by lying on your side and position your elbow directly under your shoulder as support. Place one foot on top of the other, then raise yourself up, keeping a straight line from your head to your toes. Hold this position by tightening your obliques (the muscles at the side of your stomach that run from your ribcage to your hips). Hold for the requisite breaths and then lower yourself slowly down. Do not hold your breath at any point. Repeat on the other side.
The Bicycle - Begin by lying on the floor with your lower back pressed gently down, then raise your knees and put your feet into the air. Rotate your legs as though you were cycling pressing through a softly flexed foot. Make sure you do not twist or raise your back and keep your abdominals tight at all times.
Make sure you use maximum focus and control with both of the new ab workouts today. You are an experienced exerciser who has done ab workouts for at least several months but even the best can make mistakes, allowing concentration to slip from time to time. If you experience any difficulties performing these ab workouts, don't worry, just progress slowly and you will eventually be able to do them naturally. When that time comes, you should probably have toned ripped abs to be proud of.
Good luck!
