Strolling Makes the Abs Go Tighter!

Many people didn't know that taking a stroll at least once per week can be beneficial to burning fat and making your abs look more well-defined (double quick!). For a start, don't worry about intensity and worry about enjoyment instead!

Research shows that a 30-minute walk (five days a week) whittles the middle. Walkers lose twice as much belly fat as dieters. In one study, scientists found a stroll a day is all it takes to get that jelly belly to go away and stay at bay for good. One group of women was asked to walk 30 minutes per day. The control group was asked to diet. After 12 weeks, the walkers walked away with bikini-worthy abs. Walkers also scored by reducing artery-clogging cholesterol levels. Regular walks help melt away flab along with stress so you will look and feel more streamlined.

People often gain weight after the age of 30. This is due to the slacking off on their exercises and healthy eating habits, as well as a depressed mood. If you fear getting older means automatically inheriting your Aunt Gertrude's inner tube, try to stay on top of your workout efforts and healthy eating habits. Exercise will also go a long way to boost mood-improving serotonin levels in your brain to help you feel motivated to keep up the good work. Exercises are not restricted to certain ages. And strolling can only maximize the good effects for your body.

Lastly, deciding how fast you should stroll shouldn't be a complicated affair. If you can sing while your walk, move it, you are not going fast enough. If you can't talk at all during your strolling, chances are you are going too fast. If you can mutter a few words or a conversation of single sentence is a good rule of thumb. But, if you can't sing or gab like you would at the water-cooler, I must congratulate you for finding the perfect momentum. Keep strolling and you will definitely see your abs getting leaner and well-defined day after day.
