Swivel Your Way to Sexy Abs

When you think of belly dancing, the objects that are associated usually include coin belts, undulating pelvises, and sideways shaking hips. Belly dancing is also a hot aerobic workout. What's alluring about belly dancing is that it raises your heart rate for a cardio, trims and tones your middle. It makes you feel you can charm with your hips, not just your personality!

Here are three belly dancing moves that you can do to turn your flab into abs in double quick speed:

Stomach pulses - Stand on a 45-degree angle, legs together, hands resting on the sides of your head above your ears. Pulse your stomach in and out. Repeat five times each side twice.

Belly dance toe taps - Step to the right then tap the ground with your left toe. Now step to the left and tap your right toe. Keep going, adding in this arm motion: As you step to the right, extend your right arm out to the side from your elbow and raise your left arm over your left ear, swaying towards the right. Switch arms as you bring it to the left. Meanwhile, pulse your abs in and out each time you toe taps down.

Pelvis thrusts - Stand again at a 45-degree angle with your legs together. This time, do it with your hands resting on your hips. Pulse your pelvis and abs in an in-out motion. Do this five times on each side. Repeat. Go back to belly dance toe taps.

There are endless possibilities you can do to train and tone your abs. Belly dancing is only one of the most effective and fun ways. Try to make your abs training an enjoyable experience and you will look forward to the next training session.
